As a project manager, you are responsible for all stages of a project’s life cycle.  If you are working toward the PMP® exam, you can earn PDUs in the Mini Master of Project Management and the Project Management Certificate Series. We are a PMI® Global Registered Education Provider.

Mini Master of Project Management

The Mini Master of Project Management covers all 12 “must know” project management topics as outlined by the Project Management Institute®. This program focuses on the proven processes and practices defined by the globally-recognized Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®) Guide, and employs terminology used for applying project management concepts. This course is offered in evening and week-long formats, and includes 35 contact hours for the PMP® exam.

Certified Professional Project Manager (CPPM)

The Certified Professional Project Manager (CPPM) program covers the practical applications of a project from initiation to closure. This course focuses on effective management skills and the “soft skills” of project management while also outlining practical tools needed to implement a successful project.  This program is offered in evening and week-long formats, includes 35 contact hours for the PMP® exam, and requires a four-hour exam administered outside of class.

Project Management PREP

The Project Management PREP is ideal if you need preparation for the PMP® exam from the Project Management Institute®. This program provides a review of PMP® exam materials, reviews test-taking strategies, provides sample exam questions, and uses in-class exercises to instill PMI® concepts. Previous completion of either the MMPM or CPPM courses are preferred but not required. This four-day course includes 28 contact hours for the PMP® exam.

Differences Between the CPPM and Mini Masters Programs

UST Certified Professional Project Manager (CPPM)

The UST Certified Professional Project Manager program provides an in-depth review of key project management processes and tools. The class offers training in the sociocultural dimensions of project management needed to become a successful project leader. Subjects including leadership, negotiation, culture, and politics are covered to prepare participants for the real-world challenges of project management. This program concludes with a required four-hour exam that participants complete outside of class.

Mini Master of Project Management
The Mini Master of Project Management proves a broad review of every process and practice documented in the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®). Implementing these practices enhances your chances of project success and introduces participants to the vocabulary and techniques used by project managers. The terminology, processes, and practices covered in this program are the basis for the globally-recognized CAPM and PMP® certification exams.
