Master the Art and Science of Project Management
As a project manager, you are responsible for all stages of a project’s life cycle. If you are working toward the PMP® exam, you can earn PDUs in the Mini Master of Project Management and the Project Management Certificate Series. We are a PMI® Global Registered Education Provider.
The Mini Master of Project Management covers all 12 “must know” project management topics as outlined by the Project Management Institute® (PMI). It focuses on the “soft skills” of project management (i.e. working with people) as well as practical tools to implement a successful project. This program is offered in evening and week-long formats.
The Certified Professional Project Manager (CPPM) program covers the practical applications of an entire project from initiation to closure. You will become familiar with the standard terminology recognized by the PMI®. If you are pursuing your PMP® designation through PMI® and plan to take the exam, you are strongly encouraged to take the basic certificate to supplement your studies. This certificate consists of four programs over five days and you will receive one PDU for every contact hour.
The Project Management PREP program. This program is ideal for you if you are looking to take the PMI® Exam. Learn “how to think” to be successful in the exam, review the materials that the exam covers, use in-class exercises to drive home the PMI® concepts and locate specific exam preparation resources.
Microsoft® Project for Program and Project Managers helps you learn advanced formatting techniques and how to customize fields, filters, tables, forms, views, and reports in MS Project.
Certified Professional Project Manager (CPPM)
Certified professional project managers (CPPM) command more credibility and higher salaries than their non-certified colleagues do. They appear more confident, competent and committed to the profession—and companies reward them for it. Gain hands-on experience moving a project successfully through its life cycle with an emphasis on project management leadership.
CPPM is a case-based training program targeted at novice to project manager practitioners that will allow participants to engage with a research practitioner with decades of experience in for-profit, nonprofit, government, education and service sector fields. Participants are encouraged to bring real projects into the course for consultation with the instructor. The CPPM is more in-depth on basic PMI® standards.
