The University of St. Thomas’ Mini Master of the Lean Enterprise program focuses on gaining in-depth knowledge and problem-solving skills needed by professionals developing or managing a Lean organization such as:

Sara Braziller 

Sara Braziller teaches graduate-level Lean Six Sigma in the University of St. Thomas’ Department of Engineering and Technology Management. She also practices as an independent consultant, working with companies to improve their utilization of people and assets. Sara previously worked as Vice President and CIO for Jenny Craig International in San Diego, as Director of Consulting for the local office of accounting firm Virchow Krause, and as Director of Business Transformation and Information Systems for international manufacturer MVE. Through APICS, she is certified in Resource Management (CIRM) and Inventory Management (CPIM). In 2004, Sara was honored by ComputerWorld as one of the 100 premier IT leaders in the world.

Sue Campion

Currently an independent consultant based in Minneapolis, Campion works with companies to increase business profitability and to enhance organizational problem solving. She previously worked for 3M in a variety of management positions, where her responsibilities included launching Optimized Operations, and later eBusiness, for Milan-based 3M Italy. As 3M's Paris-based European deployment manager, she later launched Six Sigma for 3M in Europe. Campion also served as a manager for Market Development and Strategic Accounts for 3M Library Systems. She has led teams improving processes in manufacturing, procurement, global supply chains, sales and marketing, and new product development for more than 20 3M businesses, plus customers and suppliers. Additionally, she has led projects in the U.S., Italy, France, Germany and Belgium, as well as pan-European and global projects and teams. She has designed and managed training in process improvement, change management and Six Sigma across eight countries, with participants from all over the world.

Campion earned a B.S. in mathematics from the College of William and Mary in Virginia, and a M.S. in industrial and management engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.

  • There are no prerequisites for this program.
