Dr. Alexis Easley has been appointed editor of Victorian Periodicals Review, effective with the Spring 2012 issue. VPR, founded in 1968, is one of only a handful of first-tier journals in the interdisciplinary field of Victorian Studies and focuses on the historical, critical, and bibliographical importance of periodicals in the history and culture of Victorian Britain, Ireland, and the Empire. VPR is published quarterly by John Hopkins University Press and is indexed on JSTOR and Project Muse databases. Easley hopes to involve graduate students with her work on this journal beginning in July 2012.
