Poetry on the Patio

240X180

The O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library hosts its annual Poetry on the Patio event to celebrate National Poetry Month

Date & Time:

Tuesday, April 25, 2017
12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

Admission:

Free and Open to the Public

Location:

Front patio of O'Shaughnessy-Frey Library (Indoors if Inclement Weather)

All are invited to the Library's annual nod to April as National Poetry Month!  Hear members of the St. Thomas community share their favorite poems in the warm spring air!  The event will begin as soon as the carillon finishes its song.  Bring your friends - the library will provide some refreshments!

Please note:  If the weather is too rainy or chilly, the reading will be held inside -- same day, at noon, up in the Great Hall on the second floor.

Enjoy getting to know another side of St. Thomas colleagues as they share one or two of the poems they love.  Each year we try to hear new voices - seeking readers from all areas of campus life.

Please visit the online history of the St. Thomas Poetry on the Patio events.  You'll get an idea of what it's like - who has read - what they have read - some interesting and fun pieces of information relating to poetry!

All programs offered by the University of St. Thomas shall be readily accessible to individuals with disabilities. For details, call (651) 962-6315.
