In the third installment of our Faculty Spotlight Presentation series, Dr. Chris Santiago, Assistant Professor of English, will open up his fall graduate class on Asian-American Literature to the public. The title of his presentation is "Sonic Vampires: The Transmission of Language, Culture, and Identity in the Asian American Novel."

Dr. Santiago was awarded Milkweed Editions' 2016 Lindquist and Vennum Award for Poetry for his manuscript Tula. The manuscript was selected from more than 200 entries from the upper Midwest. Tula will be published in December with a celebration on November 3rd. See our other department listings for information on this event.
