Graduate English Student Registration for Spring 2013

As we've done for the last several years, there will be a staggered registration process for summer and fall classes based on the number of credits a student has completed. This will give students who are close to finishing the program the opportunity to get into required courses they need to complete their degree. Graduate English students may register with the MURPHY system using the following schedule as a reference:

Students with 18 - 30 credits: Monday, November 12, 8:00 a.m.

Students with 9 - 17 credits: Wednesday, November 14, 8:00 a.m.

Students with 0 - 8 credits:  Friday, November 16, 8:00 a.m.

How can I confirm my registration status?
You can access this information via Murphy Online at the following website:
https://banner.stthomas.edu/pls/banner/prod/twbkwbis.P_GenMenu?name=homepage.  Log in, then select Student Services > Registration > Registration Status. Your registration date will be listed there and should match one of the dates noted above. If you receive the message, “You have no registration time ticket”, please contact Joyce Poley, Program Coordinator, at gradenglish@stthomas.edu or 651-962-5628. Things will run more smoothly if you check this out before your registration date.

How can I determine how many credits I’ve earned?
You can access this information via Murphy Online by generating a Degree Evaluation. Select Student Services > Student Records > Degree Evaluation > Generate New Evaluation > Choose Term > Generate Request > Detail Requirements > Submit. Examine the Degree Evaluation for the number of credits, looking at Overall Credits in the table near the top of the evaluation. If you need help with this, contact Joyce Poley at 651-962-5628.
