Scholarships for Returning Students - Due April 8, 2013:
The School of Engineering is pleased to announce that up to ten (10) $2,000 scholarships will be made available for returning Engineering students for the 2013-2014 academic year. The scholarships are provided by the generous contributions from sponsors of the Dale Irwin Hayes Scholarship Fund, the Samuel M. Paine Navy V-12 Memorial Scholarship Fund, the Michael and Rebecca Thyken Endowment, and the John E. Povolny Endowment. In these difficult economic times, we are truly grateful for the continued support of these sponsors.
The School of Engineering has developed a single application form to facilitate the awards process. To be eligible, applicants must be enrolled in Engineering. Applicants should fill out the Scholarship Application form with a short written statement describing what you are gaining from your experience at St. Thomas and what you hope to accomplish as you continue your studies and beyond. The application form is linked (above) or copies are available from the Engineering Office (OSS 100). The Applications are due April 8, 2013. Announcements are expected by May 6th.
We look forward to hearing from you!
