CAD/CAM Computer Classroom (Room 230 shown to right)

All of the department's labs contain computers. Some are in classrooms while others are in working labs with data gathering tools. Several PCs control equipment such as CNC mills and lathes, a Lasag laser, and a MTS tensile test machine. Currently, Room 230(shown to right) is equipped with 3.0 GHz Dell Optiplex PCs (installed summer 2010) running Windows 7 x64. Engineering computer labs are available for student use 24x7 via card access whenever classes are not using the room. In total, there are over 100 PCs in engineering.

The following list is dynamic and subject to change.  One of a kind software is generally not shown. The software listed below is generally available on the majority of the PCs in the engineering labs so you do not have to go searching for it. Software is generally updated either during the summer or over winter break.
