Welcome Engineers of 2012!

Welcome to the University of St. Thomas' newest students to campus. On September 2, 2008, new first-year students, transfer students and international students gathered on the Summit Avenue side of the arches. After a welcome from Father Dennis Dease, university president, they walked through the arches and into Schoenecker Arena for the New Student Convocation. As students walked through the arches, they were applauded by faculty, staff and students.

The new students included approximately 100 new engineers of the class of 2012.  Among those welcoming the new students was the new engineering dean, Don Weinkauf (left, in the photo below).
