The University of St. Thomas School of Engineering (UST) and the Department of Fire Protection Engineering at the University of Maryland (UMD) have announced a collaboration of on-line and on campus courses in a Masters Program in Fire Protection Engineering. Students can take 2 of the 10 required courses for the UMD Masters program in the School of Engineering and have them directly apply to their UMD masters degree. The arrangement allows students to form a better community of peers while they move through the on-line program at the University of Maryland.
The degree will be awarded by the University of Maryland's on-line degree program. To take courses at the University of St. Thomas students should apply to the Graduate Programs in Engineering.
