Applications for admission to the University of St. Thomas programs in Engineering and Technology Management are accepted on an on going basis; students may begin during any semester. It is possible for you to begin taking classes before being officially accepted into the degree program under the Graduate Special Enrollment option. Financial Aid

Graduate financial aid generally consists of loans to U.S. citizens. For more information, please contact the Student Financial Services Office at 651-962-6550 or 800-328-6819 ext. 2-6550.

A limited amount of work-study opportunities are available for interested students. Contact the School of Engineering office for available departmental opportunities and the Student Financial Services Office for campus-wide opportunities.

International Students

A number of international students are pursuing their graduate degree in Engineering and Technology Management. Current international students represent China, India, South America, and Lebanon.

International students must meet the following requirements for admission:

  1. Completed application for admission (contact the Engineering Office for a copy or go to Forms).
  2. Provide Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) score. The university requires a score greater than 550.
  3. Provide Graduate Record Exam General Test score.
  4. Provide a copy of academic transcripts (translated and evaluated). See Transcript Evaluation for International Students.
  5. Demonstrate that the available funds for student's education at the graduate level is sufficient.

Applications are due two months prior to the beginning of the semester to process the Visa. Any application received after that time cannot be guaranteed adequate processing time.

Financial Aid for International students

No direct financial aid is available to international graduate students. A limited amount of work-study opportunities may be available for interested students. Contact the School of Engineering office for more information about these positions. Contact the Student Financial Services Office for campus-wide positions available.
