Manufacturing management, operations, strategy, and marketing, with emphasis on small plant operations issues.

Career

Roy Jenson is a manufacturing specialist with expertise in both the business and technical sides of industrial operations. As a consultant, Jenson uses financial and technical modeling and simulation tools to link equipment, design and production issues to financial and strategic goals. In Graduate courses and Industrial Seminars, he has taught on topics such as market analysis, business planning, product costing, supply chain management, and computer maintenance.

In the undergraduate program at the University of St. Thomas School of Engineering, Roy is predominately involved in Design and Prototyping related classes.  Current and recent courses include ENGR 151 Introduction to Engineering II, ENGR 240 Circuit Analysis/Lab, ENGR 320 Machine Design/Lab, ENGR 381 Thermodynamics/Lab, ENGR 481/482 Sr. Design Clinic as well as ETLS 552 Supply Chain Synchronization in the Graduate Program.  He is advisor to the UST "Mini-Baja" team and also assists with School of Engineering Laboratory Management.
