Career
Dennis Stephens recently retired as Director of Failure Analysis at Stork Twin City Testing in St. Paul. Previously, he provided materials and process engineering support to the Arden Hills production operations of Alliant Techsystems. His background includes destructive and non-destructive testing, metallographic analysis, process control and failure analysis. Prior to his position at Alliant, Stephens worked as a specialty wire metallurgist at National-Standard Company and as a project engineer at Simonds Cutting Tools in Fitchburg, Mass. He is the co-inventor of an improved bandsaw machine, U.S. Patent 4127045 (1978).
