Amir Naqwi has a Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering (Thermal Sciences) from Stanford University. He has worked as faculty at the Fluid Mechanics Institute of University of Erlangen, Germany for five years. Later, he worked for TSI Inc. where he was Engineering Manager and General Manager of Fluid Mechanics Instrument Division. In 2001, he founded Powerscope Inc. to develop advanced medical technologies and industrial monitoring and control instruments. His research interests include aerosolized drug delivery and laser instrumentation. Currently, Dr. Naqwi is teaching ENGR 381 Thermodynamics Lab. |
