"INVENTION to VENTURE" ENTREPRENEURIAL WORKSHOP 

Did you ever have an idea and want to turn that idea into a business?

I2V LogoHear a local entrepreneur’s story of how to take an idea to the commercialization level and, help you determine if Technology Entrepreneurship is for you? Listen to experts from the technology field take you through the Idea Validation and Opportunity Assessment session and validate your own idea and invention. You will also hear from a panel of professionals from your local business community discuss how to build the perfect team and investors in your region discuss the different types of funding available to you in Finding the Money. And so much more.

This is the 2nd Invention to Venture (I2V) workshop hosted by the University of St. The workshop is an introduction to the process and practice of technology entrepreneurship As with all I2V events, our goal is to engage a wide range of participants from the university community, including science and technology students and faculty as well as members of the surrounding business community.

At Invention to Venture, you will:

  • Explore technology entrepreneurship fundamentals
  • Discover how to turn an innovative product idea into a new technology venture
  • Network with the people who can help make your ideas a reality

      2007 Cost: $10 Undergraduate Students, $20 Graduate Students, Faculty and Alumni
                       $50 for business and other interested participants
                       Lunch, refreshments and conference workbook are included with registration.
