Improving Outcomes for Individuals with Exceptionalities


New cohort starts October 2009 in Burnsville

Through classroom learning and hands-on application, students learn how to:

  • Design instruction.
  • Use appropriate teaching strategies.
  • Develop and evaluate research.
  • Implement and administer programs.

You'll learn to address diverse populations with special needs in multiple settings. Programs address the needs of people with disabilities in the context of community and family.  All licensure programs in special education meet the most recent licensure requirements established by the state of Minnesota.  The programs are endorsed by the Council for Exceptional Children.
