L. Lynn Stansberry-Brusnahan, Assistant Professor in the Department of Special Education, describes challenges associated with Autism on Milwaukee morning news program.

School of Education’s L. Lynn Stansberry-Brusnahan, Ph.D., appeared on the Milwaukee Channel 4 morning news program, “The Morning Blend” on April 7, for Autism Awareness Month.  Representing the Autism Society, Stansberry-Brusnahan spoke about inclusion and the importance of friendship to children with Autism.  Click here to watch the segment.

Stansberry-Brusnahan is an autism resource specialist and the parent of a child with autism. She serves on the board for the Autism Society of Wisconsin and is a member of the Autism Society of America. She also serves as the President of the Autism Society of Southeastern Wisconsin.  She has presented at local, state, national and international conferences.
