The National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education's (NCATE) Unit Accreditation Board ratified the recommendation of the NCATE Board of Examiners to continue accreditation for the University of St. Thomas Professional Education Unit within the School of Education.
The NCATE Board of Examiners conducted an intensive, multi-day site visit at St. Thomas in November, 2008. NCATE has continuously accredited the University of St. Thomas since 1965.
