State Exams for Teacher Licensure
The State of Minnesota requires for licensure that minimum scores be met on the MTLE exams. MTLE is taken as part of the admissions process to the School of Education, and tests basic skills in reading, writing, and mathematics. Transcript Areas Evaluated
Your transcripts will be evaluated to determine:
- Applicable education coursework
- Content area coursework (specialty areas for 5-12, K-12 and middle level areas for K-8)
- Additional college-level mathematics and science coursework for K-8 licensure.
