Our Speakers

Rama Kaye Hart, Ph.D.

Rama is an assistant professor in the Department of Organization Learning and Development at the University of St. Thomas. Hart has had a varied background, starting her career in market research and international marketing strategy at AT&T. She then shifted her efforts to organizational development, and has spent the past 15 years as a consultant to organizations in leadership and team development, employee communication and management consulting. She has consulted with many non-governmental organizations and Fortune 100 firms. Hart's research interest is in relationships in virtual and global teams. She also focuses on technology-mediated communication in teams. Hart earned a B.S. from Louisiana State University, an M.B.A. from Rutgers University and a Ph.D. from Case Western Reserve University.


Barbara Krantz Taylor, M.A., L.P. 
Barb Krantz Taylor is passionate about helping leaders understand and leverage their talent to expand their leadership potential. Her insight into talent management and employee engagement, along with her knowledgeable use of assessments, enables her clients in higher education, health care, and nonprofit organizations to identify quickly their strengths and expand their potential for leadership success.

Taylor has over 20 years of experience as a licensed psychologist, with a special focus on executive coaching, employee engagement, talent management and team building. She led the development of The Bailey Employee Engagement Survey, a tool that helps address important issues known to affect employee motivation.

Taylor earned a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Iowa State University and a Master's degree in Counseling  Psychology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is an adjunct faculty member at the University of St. Thomas, and is a past president of the Minnesota Career Development Association, a statewide association of Minnesota career professionals.
