The Leadership Institute for Executives in Catholic Education

A distinctive opportunity for experienced leaders in Catholic education to reaffirm their vocational call, connect with their colleagues, and enhance essential executive skills.


Who should apply?

Leaders who have served at least seven years in one of the following ministries or similar leadership positions:

  • Diocesan Superintendent
  • Diocesan Director of Total Education
  • Diocesan Director of Religious Education

Essential executive skills to be addressed:

  • Leadership: Concrete approaches for enhancing personal leadership, providing a vision for diocesan organization, and executing that vision.
  • Operational Expertise: Key skills that are essential for senior leaders to successfully manage their organizations.
  • Relationships and Interpersonal Skills: Strategies and tactics for building effective relationships with all stakeholder constituencies inside and outside the diocese.
  • Spiritual Renewal: Opportunities to reflect on the leader's personal call to the ministry of educational leadership.
