K-12 Teaching Licensure

Earn your K-12 license through the University of St. Thomas. This program offers you the opportunity to:

• Study a broad base of methods and pedagogical knowledge
• Earn your K-12 Licensure. 
• Field experiences in area schools

Once you have successfully completed the program requirements you will be recommended by the University of St. Thomas to the State of Minnesota for licensure.

The University of St. Thomas teacher education programs are fully accredited by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. School of Education licensure programs prepare students for the most recent licensing requirements established by the Minnesota Department of Children, Families and Learning and the Minnesota Board of Teaching.
