Elementary K-8 Teaching Licensure Courses

Preparing Future Educators 

All elementary education students at the University of St. Thomas must earn a major in elementary education and major in another academic area. 
 
Elementary education students must meet the University requirements including:

• 33 courses or 132 credits
• all core curriculum requirements
• all academic requirements in co-major area
• all requirements in the elementary education major
• all requirements for your middle level specialty area
