Preparing Teachers to Lead the Future of Education

The licensure and master’s in secondary 5-12 teaching is a 34-credit program. Your coursework from a prior bachelor’s degree is used to fulfill content area requirements. Additional non-education coursework may be required to fulfill content area licensure requirements. These are typically undergraduate courses that may be completed at St. Thomas or another institution with comparable courses.

Because you have the option of completing a Master of Arts in Teaching, all coursework in the program is at the graduate level.
