The Curriculum Lab is a resource for education students that is located in the Charles J. Keffer Library. The lab contains sample textbooks and teaching materials for grades K-12.
Users will find resources for language arts, math, science, social studies, health, special education, gifted/talented, and early childhood education; as well as material on general education topics, classroom management, and multicultural education among others. The collection also includes manipulative materials, educational games, maps, posters, puppets and story buddies, and some educational software.
Sample projects done by past students are available. Of most interest might be teaching units in a variety of subject areas, and final projects from Special Education students.
The Hubbs Children's Literaturre Collection is located next to the Curriculum Lab collection. It includes fiction and nonfiction materials that could be used with students of all ages, K-12.
The collection is available whenever the library is open. Materials may be used in the library or may be checked out. More information is available here:
