The Education Club is an undergraduate organization for students in elementary and secondary education. It hosts speakers who discuss current topics in education and offer pertinent information on career counseling. Club members are involved in an ongoing service project, "Get Ready Program," that is a program of Minnesota Higher Education Services Office. They act as mentors, teachers, and chaperones for social and educational activities involving inner city youths in grades 4, 5, and 6.
The Education Fair is a social and professional event held at the end of all and spring semesters. It is hosted by the Education Club and provides an opportunity for preservice teachers to display thematic units they have developed and will teach during their clinical experiences in the elementary classroom.
