Summary Explanation of Documentation
The documentation I have provided addresses state and dederal laws, which I have worked with throughout my practicum. Items covered are due process as it relates to discipline. Also the documetation provides evidence of proactive measures in Special Ed. Law and education on key issues of due process. As an assistant director I am constantly interpreting the law and applying it to various situations. The staff looks to their coordinator as resource on all types of special education information. If I don't have some particular information about school law, I need to know where to find it.
