Analyze currently recognized best practices in language teaching methodology such as the communicative approach, collaborative learning, and task-based learning.

ESL - Language and Culture (TEGR622X - 3 Credits)

Examine the roles culture and society play in the acquisition of English as a second language. 

ESL - Testing and Evaluation (TEGR630X - 2)
Understand issues involved in the testing and evaluating of ESL students in a variety of educational settings. 

ESL - English Language Structure (TEGR632X - 3 Credits)
Systematically examine the grammar of English specifically as it relates to the teaching of English to non-native speakers.
