

Morris received his master of arts in special education with licensures in emotional behavioral disorders and learning disabilities in 2001 from St. Thomas. Dukuly has a varied and interesting professional history as a politician and educator. He has earned diplomas in several areas such as international relations and management/administration. Dukuly taught in the Minneapolis Public School system from 1998-2005 and dedicated many hours beyond the school day to try to understand and help students with disabilities to gain in social and academic achievement.
He worked tirelessly to secure a just education for students who emigrated from Africa to the Minneapolis area. Dukuly is a prominent member of the Minneapolis African community. Many immigrants have benefited from his efforts to secure visas and services so that they may experience a dignified way of life while citizens, guests and workers in the United States. As a result of Dukuly’s actions, numerous Liberian citizens live in a more just situation both in the U.S. and Liberia. Dukuly returned to Liberia in July 2005 to join the presidential campaign of Elen Johnson-Sirleaf. He served as the deputy national campaign manager for public communications and media department. Dukuly currently serves as minister of state for presidential affairs and chief of staff for president Johnson-Sirleaf.
