Arlyn Gunderman

Arlyn Gunderman has been a very successful administrator of schools and a national leader in the field. During a long career in the Mounds View School District, Mr. Gunderman's "firsts" include being the inaugural recipient of the Minnesota Elementary Principal of the Year award and being principal of a school receiving the U.S. Department of Education's Blue Ribbon award during its first, most competitive year. He was also the first Minnesotan elected president of the National Association of Elementary School Principals, as well as president of the Minnesota PTA and a national board member of the National PTA. Mr. Gunderman has been an adjunct instructor for the University of St. Thomas School of Education and served on the committee that developed the Ed.D. in Leadership program.
