Course Description:
This course presents the framework necessary to understand international financial flows and open-economy macroeconomics. Upon completion of the course, students are expected to have a solid understanding of the workings of foreign exchange markets, balance of payments, exchange rate determination and regimes, optimum currency areas and policy coordination in an open economy.
