
The Ronald E. McNair Post Baccalaureate Achievement Program (McNair Scholars Program) is designed to encourage low-income and first-generation college students from groups historically underrepresented in higher education to pursue doctoral study. The program provides advanced academic writing and research seminars, cultural and professional development activities, extensive GRE test preparation, guided academic and career development support, a summer research experience guided by a faculty mentor, and workshops to prepare eligible undergraduate students for graduate education.Our recruitment cycle for the new year is now in session. Applications are currently being accepted through Friday, Oct. 31. Students should complete the application online, print, and deliver it to the McNair Scholars Office with all required supplemental documents.
