Project Partners/Co-Participants It is Crucial that all e-mail addresses for participants are correct. The e-mail results of the competition will be sent to the person designated as primary project lead on your application.
Project Summary(1 page, 250-1000 words) the summaries of successful proposals will be made public on our web site as well as through other media.
Detailed Proposal(Using the following prompts, respond in the text boxes below each section.) Statement of the issue or problem your project will address, and the outcomes you hope to achieve in relationship to the LOFTUS Endowment Initiative current grant priorities. If applicable, cite appropriate literature or other works to establish the project's significance; Project Objectives must be clearly defined and described, in terms of the project's impact on the underserved/underrepresented; Research methodology or Project Design (describe in detail how you will accomplish your project objectives). Explanation of the role of all participants. Dissemination plan must be clearly outlined -- plans for dissemination; i.e. through public presentations, classroom discussions, workshops, journals, news releases, other forms of promotion or publication, etc. Timetable
Detailed Budget and Brief rationale for All ItemsItemized expenses (e.g., personnel, transportation, communication, supplies and other expenses, dissemination, costs associated with a guest speaker), and rationale for budget items. Please note that expenses for catering and food items cannot be funded. If applicable, include a statement about other funding applied for or received for the same project or for a larger/related activity, and identify how the LOFTUS Mini-Grant will make a unique contribution to the successful completion of the project. (Note: applicants are encouraged to seek or obtain additional funds to complete projects - please explain the nature and function of the funding from the different sources.)
Name and E-mail address of one UST reference Person who can comment on the primary project lead's work and suitability to conduct the project in a timely manner and is not a project participant.
