Stock/Bond Transfer Instructions 2012-2013

Thank you for considering a gift of stock to the University of St. Thomas. Please see below for further instructions on transferring such funds to the university.

Account Transfer of Publicly Traded Stocks or Bonds

If the securities your client intends to give to St. Thomas are publicly traded and are held in "street name" by a brokerage firm, the university prefers that you transfer the securities electronically from the donor's personal account at your brokerage firm to the university's account at UBS Financial Services, Inc. UBS).

It also would be most helpful if you could forward to St. Thomas a copy of the donor's letter of authorization, including information on the name of the stock, number of shares to be transferred, and the gift designation. You may mail this to Shannon Hendricks at the University of St. Thomas, Mail #DEV, 2115 Summit Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55105.
