University of St. Thomas

I joined the University of St. Thomas development team in August 2006. My geographic responsibilities are the Twin Cities, Southern California, Nevada, Colorado and Utah. My role in development also includes working with the 40-year Reunion Committee members, the Next Generation group, and as a liaison to the College of Arts and Sciences, focusing on the departments of economics, geography, health, history, political science, psychology, sociology and criminal justice.

Before working at UST, my professional experience consisted of operational responsibilities with Chubb Insurance and Minnesota Mutual. I have also worked at Rex Distributing, Alcoa, Waste Management and Mid-America Recycling in sales, marketing and management roles.

I graduated from St. Thomas in 1990 with a degree in business. I enjoy working out, playing racquetball and running. I am involved as a coach of football, basketball and baseball with the Eagan Athletic Association and Faithful Shepherd Catholic School. I am a volunteer on the Development Committee of Neighborhood House on St. Paul’s West Side. I live in Inver Grove Heights, Minn., with my wife, Mary, a 1986 St. Thomas graduate. We are raising two future Tommies: George, 11, and Frannie, 6.
