We encourage you to consider alternative means of transportation whenever possible, including car-pooling, public transportation, and the St. Thomas shuttle bus.
All vehicles parked on UST property must either have a valid permit or be parked in a paid visitor parking area (except for those with valid state-issued handicap permits). Vehicles improperly parked on campus are subject to ticketing and towing.
On-campus surface parking lot permit: The cost is $55.00 per semester. These specially discounted senior citizen parking lot permits are valid only in designated campus surface parking lots and are available only through the Center for Senior Citizens' Education office. We can accept check or cash payment for parking lot permits. This payment must be made separately from program registration fees. In order to issue a permit you will need to supply your vehicle make, model and color, as well as license plate information. Multiple vehicles may be registered on one permit as long as you supply the necessary information for each vehicle. You will receive two ramp coupons with your permit purchase which will allow you to park in either the Morrison or Anderson ramp two times at no additional charge. Additional ramp coupons may be purchased for $5.00 each.
On-Campus visitor parking ramps: there are two ramp locations with visitor parking. The cost is $1.50 per hour. The preferred method is to swipe a credit card when you enter and again when you leave. Otherwise, you may take a ticket and bring it to the pay station to make your payment and receive an exit voucher.
Handicapped parking: those with state-issued handicapped permits may park in any of the designated handicap spaces on campus or any of the metered spots at no charge.
Street parking: because the city of St. Paul designates many streets as Resident Permit Parking Only, availability of nearby street parking is very limited. Be sure to observe signs on the streets as most of them require residential permits.
Parking is available in several city of Minneapolis public parking ramps near the campus. Selected ramp information is included below. The web link for more information on City of Minneapolis parking facilities is: http://parking.ci.minneapolis.mn.us
