Anderson Student Center

St. Thomas will begin construction on the Anderson Student Center on the site of O’Shauhnessy Hall and Lot H located at the northeast corner of Summit and Cretin avenues only after it undergoes, between 2009 and 2010, three separate city reviews. Environmental, traffic, and pedestrian issues will be addressed in Environmental Assessment Worksheet. The Heritage Preservation Commission will conduct a historic district view. The city’s Department of Safety and Inspections must approve a detailed site plan before any construction permits are issued. The university hopes to begin construction in May 2010.
