Located in the lower level of Murray-Herrick Campus Center, the Commuter Center & Off-Campus Services offers a space for students who live off-campus to gather while they are on campus. In addition to the lounge, study and computer areas, the Center also offers phones, a microwave, a refrigerator and a water cooler. We also have a lending library of toys, books and games for student parents to use, and all students can check out many other frequently used office items. We also rent lockers in the lower level of Murray-Herrick Campus Center if you need a place to store your belongings while on campus. Staffed with friendly commuters, all students are welcome to visit us!
If you are puzzled, don't know who to contact or where to go next, the Commuter Center and Off-Campus Services is here for you. We'll steer you in the right direction. If we don't have the answer to your question, we'll find out who does!
"Involvement" is a word you'll hear often. We think it's the way for you to take advantage of what UST has to offer, to make friends and feel "at home" here, and to become part of the St. Thomas Community. We'll help you get involved in campus activities. We'll help you connect with the Campus Life.
In a spirit of collegiality, we serve as your liaison with the rest of the campus; we are contacted by other campus offices who want to reach out to you whether to give you new information. You can receive biweekly "Commuter Updates" with relevant commuter information by sending an email to vasvoboda@stthomas.edu. In the message, request to "subscribe to Commuter News."
