Community Partnerships

CCP: Center for Community Partnerships

The Center for Community Partnerships is a single entry point into the numerous opportunities for UST students, faculty and staff to partner with the community.  The Center also provides a single entry point for Community Partners to inform the UST community about their service needs.

CCP

Until the creation the Center, students who needed to fulfill a service requirement for their club/organization, residence hall floor, BUS200 or another class may have found themselves on their own to search for the appropriate service relationship.  Now the Center, staffed by trained student assistants can guide UST members to the perfect service opportunity -- an opportunity that is both exciting to the UST member, and significant to our community.

Until the creation of the Center, community organizations that hoped to locate student volunteers or identify ways to partner with UST were often left to make numerous phone calls to inform all appropriate UST members.  Now the Center, a philosophical matrix of professionals from across campus, can broker that information to the correct UST contact.

Please visit the new Center for Community Partnerships in Murray-Herrick #153, the previous Volunteer Center.

We are proud of taking a real step in making our
university an urban learning center!
