Library Advisory Committee

Purpose

Though the primary mechanism for library/faculty consultation and communication is through library liaisons to academic units, this committee complements this mechanism and functions

  • to serve as liaison and advocate for the library with various campus constituencies, and to communicate with the library from the perspective of those constituencies
  • to advise and consult in the development of major policy regarding library services
  • to advise library leadership and staff on allocation of budget
  • to review and comment on library plans, goals and priorities.
