Library Advisory Committee

Purpose

Though the primary mechanism for library/faculty consultation and communication is through library liaisons to academic units, this committee complements this mechanism and functions

to serve as liaison and advocate for the library with various campus constituencies, and to communicate with the library from the perspective of those constituencies
to advise and consult in the development of major policy regarding library services
to advise library leadership and staff on allocation of budget
to review and comment on library plans, goals and priorities.
