Top Paper Awards
Honoring the Top Three Papers at this Year’s Conference
We are delighted to be able to honor up to three conference submissions (i.e. completed papers and electronic media productions) with a Top Paper Award. Recipients of this award represent the conference’s very best scholarship. A committee will select the award winners through a blind-review process. Each individual or group of students will receive a plaque acknowledging their achievement. Only papers and electronic media projects completed by the submission deadline are eligible for this award.
Faculty on the awards committee will select the top three submissions from among all completedpapers submitted to the conference. Awards are determined by the degree to which the research:
a) has depth and significance.
b) contributes new knowledge to the broad spectrum of communication scholarship.
c) exhibits a clear and eloquent style of writing.
d) represents critical and advanced thinking about communication processes.
e) exemplifies, overall, the very best student scholarship.
