
This is a nine course (36 credit) major. A minimum of 18 credits must be taken at UST. All majors take four core courses; two must be completed before taking additional courses within the major.

Students then take four elective courses in consultation with a faculty advisor. Two of those courses must be from the options below; the other two may be from this list or any department offering including Individual Study, Internships, and Special Topics courses. Two of the four elective courses must be 300-level or above.

All majors also complete COMM 480 Capstone Course in Communication. The other eight courses must be completed prior to enrolling. Seven completed, with one concurrent enrollment, is allowed.
The Communication Studies minor consists of five courses.
