The COJO major and minor allow students much flexibility to tailor their program of courses to their professional interests and educational goals.  Therefore, to declare a COJO major or minor, students must do the following:

1. Obtain and complete a COJO major or minor planning form (available by clicking on the links to the right).  Be sure to read all the instructions down the left side of the form.  Completion of the form requires developing a plan of courses and writing a short essay about your chosen emphasis. 
2. Obtain and complete a UST major or minor field declaration card (available in most academic department offices on campus and in the Academic Counseling office).
3. Sign up for an appointment with the COJO department chair to have your plan approved. Bring the COJO form, your short essay and your declaration card to that appointment.
