CISC Classrooms and Labs

There are a variety of classrooms and labs available to the CISC department. Below are examples.

All general classrooms such as OWS 275 pictured below are equipped with an instructor station which includes a computer and projection system. Through this station, the instructor is able to connect to the Internet and other resources on campus.

There are a number of classrooms configured for interactive student use of computers. Classrooms OSS 428 and OSS 431 shown below are two such classrooms directly available to the CISC department.

There are also some special purpose labs dedicated to the CISC department one such lab is used for the study of artificial intelligence, robotics, and computer hardware. The two pictures below are of that lab.

There is also a lab dedicated to networking of computer systems and other experimental efforts. A portion of that lab is show here:

In addition to those shown above, the CISC department has cooperative arrangements with a number of departments on campus, including engineering, to share facilities (labs and classrooms) when the need arises.
