CISC Accomplishments

1. Established as the Quantitative Methods department in 1968, it was among the first undergraduate computer oriented majors in the nation.
2. The department has maintained its uniqueness among computer oriented majors by remaining firmly entrenched in the liberal arts.
3. The employers of our graduates tell us that they hire our students because, in addition to their high level of technical skills, our students are able to communicate effectively.
4. Many of our graduates have gone on to establish their own successful companies in areas such as World Wide Web development and consulting services.
