Summer Research 2009

The Chemistry Department research program grew to its largest numbers ever this year.  Over 50 students worked with 7 faculty members in the summer on various projects.  The summer culminated with a departmental poster session.  Over half of the students also participated in an undergraduate poster session at the U of MN, in which UST students took the 1st and 3rd place awards.  Much of the work performed this summer will be presented at national and international meetings and/or be published in journals in the coming year.
