2008 Chemistry Banquet Honors Seniors, Parents, Awardees

2008 Senior Chemistry and Biochemistry Majors

The Chemistry Department held it's annual banquet on April 18, 2008.  Over 160 students, faculty, and guests attended the event, which included a social hour, dinner, and awards (both serious and otherwise). 

37 of the 39 seniors graduating with chemistry or biochemistry majors attended, most with their parents and other guests, and continued the history of receiving "awards" based on various anecdotes from their time at UST (or in some cases prior to that).  The seniors also gave the faculty a taste of their own medicine with special faculty "awards"

On a more serious note, several students ranging from seniors to freshmen received awards for outstanding performance in courses, research, and departmental citizenship.  Please click on the links below for more information on these awards and the winners.
