CRN: 10079 1 Credit Hours Instructor: Mithra Marcus An introduction to fundamental concepts in chemistry with an emphasis on problem solving. Topics to be covered include measurement in scientific study, the fundamentals of the periodic table, chemical bonding, chemical equations, and stoichiometry. This course is designed as a preparatory course for students who do not pass the chemistry placement exam but wish to eventually enroll in CHEM 111. Prerequisite: Math placement at 108 or above. Offered January term. NOTE: This is an online course; content will be delivered via the Blackboard portal.
