| Study of chemical systems from the point of view of molecular theory. Introduction to the fundamentals of quantum chemistry and atomic/molecular spectroscopy. Laboratory work involves computational methods in molecular quantum mechanics and spectroscopic measurements of atomic/molecular systems. Lecture plus six laboratory hours per week.
